Image Los Angeles (CA) Sing Tao daily live with SCS Classified System

Los Angeles Sing Tao is the fourth daily of the Sing Tao group to go live with the SCS Classified System.  San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver are all using SCS's AdMAX to take classified ads and paginate the classified pages.

Special pagination algorithms were developed by SCS to accommodate the horizontal pagination methodology used by most Chinese-language newspapers.

Hendersonville (NC), Ocala (FL) and Gainesville (FL) set to install Layout-8000.

Image The New York Times Regional Media Group (NYTRMG), a division of the New York Times Company, is comprised of one weekly and 14 daily newspapers located in the Southeast United States, Louisiana and California.

The three new NYTRMG sites will join Wilmington (NC), Tuscaloosa (AL), Florence (SC), Spartanburg (SC), Houma (LA), Lakeland (FL) and Thibodaux (LA), which have already installed Layout - 8000 for display ad layout.

All three new sites have also purchased SCS's InLay for Ad Pagination using InDesign .

impreMedia to install Layout-8000 for 3 more Spanish-language publications

Image La Raza, serving the Chicago area; La Prensa, of Central Florida; and Rumbo, serving central Texas, will use Layout-8000 for retail ad placement and SCS's InLay for Ad Pagination

From a central server located in Los Angeles (CA), La Raza, La Prensa and Rumbo will each use Layout-8000 to place ads and paginate ad space. While the servers and application are located in LA, each market will place ads locally using SCS's Layout - 8000 with NX thin client technology over the internet. SCS's InLay will be used for Ad Pagination

With this purchase, impreMedia will add 3 more publications to its list of newspapers using SCS's Layout-8000.

ImageTwo more Sing Tao dailies go live with SCS Classified Systems

Sing Tao Daily in Toronto and Vancouver are live with SCS's AdMAX Classified and SCS/ClassPag. Both sites are now using SCS systems for Classified order entry and pagination.

Using SCS/ClassPag, pagination of the classified section has been reduced to a matter of minutes.

Sing Tao LA is scheduled to go live March 1st, 2008
