Tulsa World installs Color Factory, Smart Color and Smart CleanTulsa World has gone live with ColorFactory (SmartColor and SmartClean) from FotoWare, installed and tuned by Marty MacDonald from Software Consulting Services, LLC Tulsa World purchased SmartColor and SmartClean and Color Factory for color toning, noise correction and image format conversion. ColorFactory allows the configuration of “channels” which specify a workflow for images. Tulsa World is distributed throughout Tulsa Oklahoma and it's suburbs. It is the second-most widely circulated newspaper in the state. Tuls Workd was founded in 1905 and remains an independent newspaper owned and operated for four generations by the Lorton family of Tulsa. SCS has established a test website where any newspaper may experiment by submitting an image and comparing it to the result output of their existing process.
